Tempe Man  Suspected of Trespassing Ends Up All Wet

On November 22, 2008 at 04:56 am, Jonathan Tobin (02-06-87), was placed under arrest in the area of Margo Ln and 11th St, Tempe on suspicion of residential trespass.

Investigation conducted by Tempe Police Officer revealed that Tobin unlawfully entered a residence in the 1200 block of W. 11th St.  Tobin then exited the residence and was contacted by Tempe Police Officers at 11th St and Margo Ln.  When contacted, Tobin was wet and his blue jeans where inside out.  Tobin was not wearing a shirt and his upper body was covered only by two towels.

When questioned as to why he was wet, Tobin informed officers that he had fallen into a pool.  Further investigation showed, that after unlawfully entering the previously mentioned residence, Tobin fell into the pool, and left with two towels from the residence.

Tobin was extremely uncooperative with officers during this investigation.  Tobin was placed under arrest and transported to Tempe City Jail where he was charged with residential trespass (a class six felony), theft (a class one misdemeanor), and criminal damage (a class one misdemeanor).
