RECOVERED PROPERTY

 Recovered property may be released by the Property Technician to the rightful owners prior to the conclusion of a trial under the authority of a Court order, or upon written authorization of the representing County or City Prosecutor.

The property may be required as evidence in pending litigation. 

An owner of impounded property should keep the Tempe Police Department updated on any changes to his/her phone number or address.  Call 480-350-8311 and ask to add an address change to your report.  

If the Property Technician cannot contact the owner of property, it will be disposed of as allowed by law.
