PAWN PROGRAM
The
Tempe Police Department Pawn Detail is responsible for the following:
·
Inspection
of pawnshops for compliance with state/city laws
·
Investigate stolen property related
to
pawnshop activity
·
Recover
stolen guns/property, and
·
Provide oversight for all required
police transaction reports regarding scrap metal ya rds,
pawnshops, auction houses, and second-hand dealers.
